Smart phone is divided into android and iphone. Android and iphone is differnt from various aspects. They have not only merit, but also demerit. If you want to change new smart phone, you will research about smart phone a lot, because it may spend long time with you. We will show you comparison android and iphone.

First, android has many manufacturers, for example, sony, sharp, samsun, etc. Those manufacturers make a lot of models, so you can choose what you like. Next, some people like android one-seg-receiving functions. Watching TV with one’s phone is very convenient for them because without TV, they can enjoy television program anywhere. What’s more, there is the smart phone which is waterproof. It is possible to watch television even in a place where humidity is high like a bathroom. In addition, it can use a SD card. If you often take photos and videos, capacity will become quiet full. It will be saved on a capacity side when the model that you can use a SD card. Also, android has big screen. Android is a mainstay of around 5 inches terminal,　people are easy to see large screen. They can watch Web page, e-mail and electronic book comfortably.

Although android has many good point, there are some bad point. It is different in the number of the buttons, placement, operability by a model because the android can develop a mobile carrier freely. Therefore, might have trouble a little to be used to new operability when people change a model. On the other hand, people who have iPhone come to be able to operate most of in the one-button of middle because the iPhone assumes is simple, making it a concept like iPad or iPod. On the other hand, there are some merit and demerit of iphone.

At first, one of the merit of iphone is cheeper than android. There are many types of android such as Xperia, AQUOS phone, Galaxy and so on. However, if you compare these android with iphone, you will find that iphone is cheeper than almost android. Also, iphone’s size is compact. A lot of android is getting bigger and bigger. Although iphone’s size is getting bigger a little too, iphone’s size is smaller than android now. In addition, each types of iphone are same design of the screen. If you buy new android which is different maker you had, you will struggle to get used to new one. However, because each types of iphone are same style, if you change new iphone, you will master new one soon. Therefore, iphone is easy to use. Also, there are many types of cover and case for iphone. You can enjoy various variation.

One of the demerit of iphone is you can’t custom a lot. Although it is a good point that each types of iphone are same style, on the contrary, there are a lot of limitation. For example, iphone doesn’t have a function of widget. Also, iphone doesn’t have many function such as infrared rays, waterproofing, Osaifu-Keitai and one seg. These functions are developed in Japan, so iphone doesn’t have these convenient function. In addition, if you have some trouble about iphone, you have to go iphone shop. However, there is only one iphone shop in Kumamoto. It is very inconvenient.

In consequence, the difference between smart phones and iPhones is smart phone can have unique models in various models and customization by mounting the OS high degree of freedom as Android, high degree of perfection by Apple consistent concept of the iPhone. Both the iPhone and Android latest terminal is attractive. It is simple and is easy to use iPhone and suits all tastes at a balanced terminal. Essay 2-01a: My Regular Place is...

I often go to Hikari-no-Mori which is a shopping mall. One of the reason is it is relatively near my home. I can go there about 15-20 minutes by car or about 10 minutes by train. Sometimes, I go there on my way home. In addition, there are many tenants in the shopping mall. I often buy my clothes and sometimes watch movies there.

When I go to Hikari-no-Mori, I go to KALDI at first. It is in first floor. I get tasting a cup of coffe and I shop there. The shop has a lot of imported meals foods. Also, the shop's composition is like western libraries, so it is fun to shop KALDI.

MAMAIKUKO is my favorite grocery store in first floor. The shop's goods are cute and girly. I like grocery goods, so I usually go there. I enjoy only window shopping at the shop. When I shop there, time goes by slowly. 

At second floor, I often go clothes shops. I usually go Slaw&w closet and ERG les Cepo. These are my favorite clothes shops at Hikari-no-Mori recently. Slaw&w closet's clothes are girly and casual. This shop's sense suits my taste! Sometimes, the shop sells clothes of which galaxy pattern. I like galaxy very much, so it is one of my favorite reason. In addition, salesclerks at this shop talk to me cheerfully. Although clothes' prices at this shop are a little expensive for me, I can't help buying. ERG les Cepo's clothes are casual, natural and simple. I like not only clothes at this shop too, but also shopper. This shop's shopper's design is fashionable and cute! It is one of the reason that I like this shop.

In addition, there is a bookstore "Kinokuniya" at second floor. There are a lot of books. When I want to buy some books, I almost go there. There are retrieval machines of books. If I look for books, thanks to the machine, I can find the books soon.

Also, there is a movie theater "TOHO CINEMAS" at second floor. Although I don't go to the movies very often, I like this movie theater the best. This movie theater is large and fine. I want to go there again.

Hikari-no-Mori is easy to go for me and there are many my favorite stores. Hikari-no-Mori is my favorite place!

Essay 1-03a: My Language Learning Story and Plans

Since I was born, I have learned some languages and many words. I have lived with Japanese words all the time. When I was young, the people around me taught some words. However, I was too young, so I couldn't say right such as “man-ma”. It means mother. After I entered elementary school, I learned kanji. I think that I learned a large number of kanji, mostly when I was an elementary school student. I studied it hardly. At my school, we used “kanji skill” which is a workbook of kanji and we had kanji tests of the workbook every week. We my classmates studied hard to get the high score. Since I was a third grade of the elementary school, I began to go to English conversation school. I continued to go to there until third grade of high school. In the beginning, I had been taught some greetings and easy words. After I entered junior high school, I studied English proficiency test using textbooks. Thanks to that, I could get used to English earlier than usual and I came to like English. Since I was a junior high school student, I learned Japanese classics. Although I didn’t think it is difficult as I was a junior high school student, it became to think it is difficult since high school. The reason is that I had to remember a lot of words’ meaning and Japanese particles. At the high school, we had to prepare lessons every class. However, thanks to that, I can understand better than the past. Now, I study English every day at the university. I became to be able to write a lot in English and read English newspaper a little. However, I’m not good at speak English, pronounce English and listen English. I think overcoming that will change me, so I want to make efforts.

In the future, I would like to get better English skills then. I want to go abroad once using my English fluency. In addition, I want to use English dairy. I don’t decide my dream clearly yet, but I want to get a job such relate to English. Now, I study teaching profession, so I have to get much better some English skills!

I am Satoko. Please call me Satoko. I’m a sophomore of KGU. I’m from Japan and my hometown is Ohzu town of Kumamoto in Kyushu. My hometown is famous for sweet potatoes and HONDA which is a famous Japanese motorcycle and car maker. Furthermore, there are so many people of real warmth, so I like my hometown. I hope you will come to my hometown once. I want to know about thee place where you live. Please tell me various things about that.

After that, this is aspects of my life. I like eating but I don’t like seafood dishes so much. I’m might not be able to eat them up completely but I will try to eat all as much as possible. I like music very much too especially Japanese rock music. I want to know the music that you listen to. If you like music, please tell me about that. I’m glad if you like music.

It is hard for me to wake up in the mourning especially in the winter season because it is very cold in winter, so I don’t want to move around. Also, I’m often told I am easygoing, so I do my work in my way. Although I would like to spend a lot time with you, my host family, I want to make time for myself in a day too. My weak point is dealing with people especially with communication. I think I am shy and introverted. Because of that, if I go on a homestay, I am anxious to fix my attitude. I want to be a more sociable person.

Finally, I have plans when I go there. I hope to visit a lot of sightseeing spots and areas. Which sightseeing area would you recommend? I hope you can take me there. I want to eat delicious foods such as local foods there. Please tell me your recommended dishes. What’s more, as mentioned above, I hope to fix my attitude. For that, I will try to join as many various events as possible. I would like to interact a lot. Moreover, I will treasure you my host family.
