This book has three mermaids's stories. The mermaids are Harmony, Marina and Coral.

The first story is about Harmony. Harmony could sing beautiful songs. Her voice was so enchanting that passing fish had to stop and listen. One day, her mother became sick, so Harmony wanted to cure her mother's disease. However, the only cure wa polkadot seaweed which only grows in the Pirates! So, she went there for her mother bravely. Fortunately, she could get it. At the time, she was caught by Gingerbeard's ghost. She was so sad, so she sang to try to cheer herself up. But all her songs came out sounding sad. Gingerbeard who heard her singing couldn't drag himself away from the her tragic tunes. After that, he forgave her. At last, she could cure her mother. Her beautiful voice helped her mother!

The second story is about Marina. A giant pearl was the most beautiful thing Marina'd ever seen. The pearl had magical power! Someone who win a race can get the pearl. That's why she practiced harder. At the day of the race, she was interrupt by ill-natured mermaid. However, she could win and get the pearl!

The third story is about Coral. She had a secret wish. She wanted to dance with humans. But it needed legs to dance. That's why she asked king to give her legs. She begged and begged. He granted her wish. Soon after, she went to the hall where humans was dancong. She met a handsome young freshman called Dan and danced with him. She fell in love with him the day. She was very happy dancing. However, she didn't enjoy except only dancing. A week later, king appeared in front of Coral and Dan and he asked Coral, "What is your decision legs or tail?". Because she had falled in love with Dan, she answered "Legs". But he had falled in love with Coral too. He chose tails. Corel and Dan gave tails by king and enjoyed dincing hand-in-hand. The story looks like The Little Mermaid but this story is happy end!
