One of the Events at the end of the Year

To my family, pounding steamed rice into the dough used for rice cakes is one the event at the end of the year. We go to grandmother's house every year to do it together.

This year, my mother and I went to grandmother's house in December 28th. At the morning, my grandmother prepared for it before we arrived. She always uses a machine for pounding steamed rice into the dough used for rice cake. So, our work is tearing off rice cake and rounding it. After we arrived, we started it soon. My grandmother was a role tearing off the rice cake. My mother and I were roles rounding it. Speed is important to both works. If you do these works slowly, the surface of rice cakes would be hard and become bad appearance. So, we rounded it quickly as possible. Also, we made some bean paste rice cakes together.  A rice cake put in front of the household Shinto altar, some of it put on the desk and car and some of it are eaten.

After we finished and saw the rice cakes, I had a soft spot in my heart for it. The brand-new rice cakes were soft and delicious. I like rice cakes very much, so I ate it a lot. One of my friends likes rice cakes too, so I brought it to her house at the day. For the time being, our lunch will be rice cakes.

Family Day

The other day, I went to Hamakatsu with my family. Hamakatsu is a fried pork cutlet restaurant. At this restaurant, if you order set menu, you can choose some. For example, dark miso soup or white miso soup, thinly shredded cabbage or diced cabbage and polished rice or cereals rice. Also, cabbage, miso soup, rice and pickles vegetables refills are free. In addition, this restaurant's fried pork cutlets are tender and so crispy. So, my mother often says "why the fried pork cutlets at restaurants are so tender and crispy? Why ...". After we went to this restaurant, we always eat too much. But this restaurant is our favorite.

After eating, my mother suddenly proposed to go to karaoke. So, I went to karaoke with my family. Going karaoke with my family is so rare. It has been quite a long time since I last sang with family. Although I was shy to sing in front of family at first, we enjoyed very much! Sometimes, it is not so bad such a day.

Triangular Chocolate Pie

This is a triangular chocolate pie. Every winter, this pies are on sale for a limited time at McDonald's. This pies are covered with a piecrust tasted cocoa and hot chocolate cream inside. This pie and hot coffee may be good combination.

I have been looking forward to eating it for some days. Yesterday, I could eat it! I want to eat it again in this winter!

Unique Noodle shop

The other day, I went to a noodle shop with my band members after finishing the band practice. The noodle shop is on my way from the studio. It is at street of Hakuzan. Its name is Ippaku.

We all visited the shop for the first time. When enter the shop, we were surprised because the shop was so fashionable! I can't think it is a noodle shop. Also, the menu is unique a little. There are common noodle too, such as laver noodle. But, some unique noodles attracted attention. For example, "milk noodle" and "tomato and cheese noodle". Especially, milk noodle is limited in winter. So, we all ordered milk noodles.
 

The taste looks like carbonara pasta. It was a new sensation to me. We promise to visit there together again. And I want to try to eat the other noodle next time.

Foods in Winter

When winter comes, I often feel I want to drink corn potage. Especially late at night, I miss hot and sweet corn potage.

Also, speaking of winter, nabe is popular for Japanese people. There are a lot kind of nabe. Especially, I like kimchi nabe, oden and sukiyaki. In winter, my grandmother often cooks oden. She cooks it before a day and stew it very very long time. So, my grandmother's oden is delicious. I always feel her warmth when I eat it. I like her oden very much!

In this winter, I want to hold nabe party with my friends. It seems very fun!!

Udooooon

Today, I went to a noodle shop with my family.  It is in my hometown, so we often go there. It's name is Umenoya. It is my favorite noodle shop.

My favorite menu is a set meal which is a bowl of rice topped with tempura and udon. Its udon is mini size, so I recommend women to eat it. The restaurant's udon's soup is, if anything, strong. That's why I like the restaurant' udon very much!  A bowl of rice topped with tempura is taste good too.

Also, there are tatami too, so you can relax. If you go to my hometown Ozu, let's go there!

For the live :)

Two weeks ago of the flumpool's live at Kumamoto, I went to shopping with my friends and her brother. The day, we bought some clothes and so on for the live. Because we would go to the live together!! It was the first time to go out with the members.


At first, we went to eat lunch at GIARDINO.

I went to the café for the first time. The café looks cool. In addition, I ordered rice omelet. The outside was very softy and the taste was good too. This is the best rice omelet I have ever had! We were satisfied very much!







After the lunch, we walked streets and droped in some shops. At THE EMPORIUM, I bought earrings. I usually don't buy accessories for myself, it was the first time to buy earrings for myself. It was love at first sight! The shape of flowers are very cute!! I decided to wear it at the live.




After that, we went to PARCO and we dropped in ARROW. The shop has some clothes which is design of cosmo. My friend and I had a appealing clothing. It has 3 types of design. Of course, the design is cosmo! These are culottes. We bought the culottes of different colors. We decided to wear maching at the live!




The day, we can gained a lot! We prepared for the live enough!!

Starbucks!!

Last Friday, I went to Starbucks near my university with my friend after school. The shop opened recentry but I haven't visit there yet.

I usually don't go Starbucks, so I don't know the menu so much.

As I wondered which I select, the kind clerk told me. So I asked her favorite menu and I ordered it. Which I ordered is Chunky Cookie Frappuccino. It was good taste! Also I ordered free topping chocolate sauce. The clerk put the sauce a little too much:)

I'd like to go the shop again with my friends!
