Club Activities !!

I am a member of rock music club. We form bands with each other. A band has various parts, such as vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. I play the guitar. I was a beginner when I joined the club. However, because about half of the members were beginner too at same grade to me, we were almost same starting line. At the club, freshmen have to form fixed band through a year. They have to remain same members which they formed fixed band a year. In addition, they can't form other bands except unless they are asked to form a band by older members to them. The members of sophomore and over can form bands freely. However, they become the merit system. The reason is that freshmen have to form fixed band, so they are certainly members of a band. The members of sophomore and over have to form bands or be asked to form a band someone if they want to appear on stages. Person who has get-up-and-go, make efforts or have a good command will be able to form a lot of bands and appear on the stages many times. In addition, the club gives one more concert every month. The club has more chance to play music in public than other music club. That is why I think the club has good environment. I can enjoy University life. One of the reasons is club activities I think. I want to get better like older members to me. Older members are really cool. I admire them. Furthermore, many freshmen joined the club, so I have to practice harder. Also, the club members are very kind people a lot. I always think it was good choice for me to join the club. I would like to continue to do it.

Mouse on the Keys

In October 11th, I went to a live at second sight in Kumamoto city with my friend. It was mouse on the keys' live. Mouse on the keys is a trio instrument band in Japan. The musical instruments which used in this band  are one drum and two keyboards. Sometimes, there are some wind instruments such as trumpet and sax. In this time, mouse on the keys' members and a sax player performed.

I'm attached to this band. I belong to rock music club now. When I was a freshman of this college, my friend told me this band. From then, I like this band. In addition, I played mouse on the keys' songs at the regular concert of my club before. At that time, I played piano. That's why,  the band is very special for me.

At the mouse on the keys' live (October 11th), their performance made me excited!! The time of their live was very good time. I'd like to play their songs again at the regular concert.

Good-bye Party and Fireworks Festival

The other day, we University friends held farewell party for one. My friend Misaki will go abroad to study from the end of this month. That’s why, we held party at my friend’s home. It was very interesting, so time spent so fast. However, we could make good memory before she goes to Canada.


Also, I went to summer festival at Uto with my University friends. The summer festival is first festival in this summer to me. In addition, because I wanted to wear yukata in this year, I was glad to be sunny. I was satisfied to be able to see fireworks and wear yukata with my friends. I felt summer.

Next my enjoyment is summer camp of which club.

Music Festival

In June 28, 7 music clubs hold 47th Music Festival at prefectural playhouse. I didn't take part in the concert but I was a member of an executive committee. That's why I prepared during the day of the previous day and I worked as stagehand on the day of the playing.

At the previous day, the member's exeutive committee brought in a lot of equipment parts to hall. Then, because a rehearsal started, we worked as own role. Because my group's job was stagehand, we were very busy all the day. However, it is good experience to me because I had such experience a little before.

At the day of playing, we were very busy too but I could learn a lot of things. First, I could listen and see all 7 music clubs. 7 clubs are light music and Latin mood music club, swing band club, chorus club, mandolin club, guitar cub, modern folk club and rock club. These are different type of music, so I could listen to music which I often don't listen. In additon, I could see players from a different angles usual, so I could see and notice various things. Furthermore, I could get to know each other through executive committe.

Although I was tired and very busy, I could experience a lot through this executice committee! I enjoyed a lot!

We will talk about University life. First, we want to talk about club activities. There are a lot of clubs in the University such as athletic clubs and cultural clubs. Also, the club members are very kind people a lot. They have genuine enthusiasm for music. 7 music clubs have including rock music circle in this university. Rock, Swing, light music has clubroom in underground. Other circles have a clubroom in the clubroom building. There are events in music clubs, for example, training camp, Music festival, Dance party. Those events are pleasant. It can interchange with other music circles. Every music circle is doing their best in practice towards a concert or the live concert. Second, there are many good facilities at this university, for example, the library, bakery and student's dining hall. These are very convenient. Many students and teachers make use of them. The library is on the third floor. There are many books, computers, DVDs and so on. The space is that people can study quietly. There are many desks and the private room for study too. Computer is the first and second floor. Students often watch Internets and write report there. There are many kinds of DVDs, for example, Hollywood, Disney and Japanese movies. You can watch only or with friends. Also there are CDs. You listen to music in private space. There is not only quiet space, but also space for you can talk with your friends. At the first floor, there are spaces that they can chat, eat and drink. The room has computers, so there are not just people chatting with friends, but also people who are studying by using computers. They can relax in the room. Therefore, a lot of various students visit the library every day. Students of this university often make use the bakery or student's dining hall at lunchtime. There are many people at lunchtime. The bakery is many kinds of bread. It is good taste and low-priced. Bagel, pizza is popular among students. The new product is also often taken out. That’s why people do not get bored. In addition, users of the bakery are not just students of the university. Many high school students, parents and their young children buy some bread and eat there too. For this reason, the bakery sounds like fun every day. Student's dining hall is very cheap! There are Udon, curry, and katsudon and so on. Recommendation is a plat du jour. The price is only 250 yen with rice!! Taste is good too. There are many spaces for eating. So you can talk with friends, eat packed lunch there. Using also expect a college student is possible. The high school student and the housewife also actually use there. There is also convenience store called Lawson, so you are not troubled in eating. A long line is made in a register in lunchtime there, so going at the time cannot recommend you. But it is OK, except the time. This university has the substantial institution. There are many institutions in this university even if it removes what I explained. These will help your university life. So you could lead a pleasant university life.
